Honda Introduces the 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback Prototype

The Honda Civic is already one of the most beloved compact cars on the road today. Whether drivers choose the sedan model of the Civic or the coupe, they are sure to find something to love behind the wheel of the signature Honda vehicle. In fact, there only seemed to be one aspect that the Honda Civic was missing: a hatchback model. Well, that is not the case anymore.

In March, Honda introduced the 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback prototype.

The new hatchback model of the Honda Civic takes everything drivers love about the current Honda Civic sedan and translates it into a larger and more practical model.

“We knew that we needed to create a striking and stand-out exterior design that challenged conventional European compact styling while staying true to the original Civic’s core values,” said Daisuke Tsutamori, chief exterior stylist for the 2017 Civic Hatchback Prototype. “This vehicle represents a marriage of distinctive and sporty design, rewarding driving dynamics and versatile practicality.”

Combining a sporty performance with practicality is what Honda does best, and the best example of this has got to be the brand new 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback.

2016 Honda HR-V

The highly anticipated 2016 Honda HR-V is finally here, and buyers love it. Completely new to the Honda lineup, the HR-V brings a smaller crossover option to the market. It’s built on the same structure of the Honda Fit, but it’s been enlarged to allow for even more cargo room.

One of the best features in the HR-V is the rear Magic Seats. The Magic Seat allows you to fold the seats up to store tall cargo on the floor or down to store longer cargo in the back. The front passenger seat can also be laid flat to transport something up to 8 feet long! You don’t even have to fold the seats down to have plenty of room for groceries and luggage behind the second row.

The new HR-V is perfect for young people, couples, or small families. It seats five and offers excellent fuel economy. It has an EPA estimated 27 miles per gallon in the city and 35 mpg on the highway.

Not only will you save money on gas, but you’ll get a nice bang for your buck. The base model starts under $20,000 and offers a rearview camera, 5-inch color LCD infotainment screen, remote entry and more. Stop into Sunny King Honda to see why the 2016 Honda HR-V has been so popular!
