When you think of reliable car brands, you probably think of Honda. And when you think of Honda, you probably think of the Honda Accord. Well now when you think of safety, you will probably think of the Honda Accord as well.
The IIHS, short for the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, rewards vehicles that are among the safest on the road with this title.
Safety is easier than ever in the 2016 Honda Accord thanks to the Honda Sensing technology. This advanced system acts as another set of eyes and ears for Honda drivers.
“With Honda Sensing now available on all Accord trims, the best-selling retail car to American families also leads the midsize segment in safety,” said Jeff Conrad, Honda Division senior vice president and general manager, in the press release. “Our continued application of Honda Sensing technologies to more vehicles in our lineup is advancing our goal of reducing collisions and fatalities for everyone on the road.”
Honda is always looking for ways to make the best even better. Take the Honda Civic for example. It is an example of everything a sedan should be. However, Honda is ready to take the Civic to the next level.
The new 10th Generation of the Honda Civic has been crafted to look more streamlined and sporty in its design. The redesign makes it the best looking sedan on the market.
New features for the Civic include Android Auto and Apple CarPlay technology, as well as Honda Sensing technology for advanced safety.
“This tenth-generation Civic is quite simply the most ambitious remake of Civic we’ve ever done,” said John Mendel, executive vice president of American Honda Motor Co, Inc. “We are bringing more new technology and innovative thinking to Civic than ever before to establish a new benchmark for fun-to-drive performance, fuel efficiency, safety performance and refinement in the compact class.”
