How to Protect Your Vehicle’s Paint Job from the Sun

Protect Your Vehicle’s paint job

As we enter into the months of spring, the days are growing longer, with the sun shining for extended hours. However, as the sun is up in the sky for longer periods throughout the day, it can unfortunately cause some damage to your vehicle’s paint job. In order to protect the beautiful color of your vehicle, be sure to take these precautions, which will help you learn how to protect your vehicle’s paint job from the sun.

  1. Wash Your Car

One of the best ways to protect the paint job of your car from fading is by routinely washing your vehicle. This will not only make your car cleaner, but it will also help increase the longevity of its colors.

  1. Dry Your Car

After washing your car, don’t immediately start driving it out in the bright sun. Take the time to make sure your car is dry to avoid any additional damage from the sun.

  1. Wax Your Car

In addition to washing and drying your vehicle, you should consider applying a coating of wax to your vehicle. This will provide your car with a nice polish and added protection.

Honda Introduces the 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback Prototype

The Honda Civic is already one of the most beloved compact cars on the road today. Whether drivers choose the sedan model of the Civic or the coupe, they are sure to find something to love behind the wheel of the signature Honda vehicle. In fact, there only seemed to be one aspect that the Honda Civic was missing: a hatchback model. Well, that is not the case anymore.

In March, Honda introduced the 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback prototype.

The new hatchback model of the Honda Civic takes everything drivers love about the current Honda Civic sedan and translates it into a larger and more practical model.

“We knew that we needed to create a striking and stand-out exterior design that challenged conventional European compact styling while staying true to the original Civic’s core values,” said Daisuke Tsutamori, chief exterior stylist for the 2017 Civic Hatchback Prototype. “This vehicle represents a marriage of distinctive and sporty design, rewarding driving dynamics and versatile practicality.”

Combining a sporty performance with practicality is what Honda does best, and the best example of this has got to be the brand new 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback.
