Honda is set to make a stunning reveal of the new Civic Hatchback design at the upcoming Paris Motor Show. Although the brand has already showcased versions of this model, this is the first time the mass-market version will be shown. With some new styling, packages, and features, we can’t wait to see the final product.
2017 Honda Civic Hatchback features will include things like multiple powertrain options to select from. According to AutoGuide, this includes the 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that generates up to 174 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. The Sport and Sport Touring models, on the other hand, come with 180 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. Both a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and a six-speed manual are available.
What else is new? The Hatch has sharp new styling, including a reshaped exterior that’s more aerodynamic than ever before. The rear roofline comes with a spoiler to improve airflow, while honeycomb paneling gives this model a bold appeal. The Civic Hatchback has some tech upgrades as well, including Bluetooth connectivity, Apple CarPlay, and a 7-inch display audio system.
Also at the Paris Motor Show, Honda will reveal the Jazz Spotlight Edition—a version of the Fit—and the Civic Type R. We can’t wait to see what Honda comes out with next.
